Method: layers in series, so total transmission = 1 / (sum of 1 / each layer’s transmission). OTR is in cc/(m2 day) at 23 C and 0 percent RH. WVTR is in g/(m2 day) at 38 C and 90 percent RH. Real laminates differ: adhesives, inks, coatings, humidity effects (especially for nylon and EVOH), pinholes, flex cracking and converting all change the result. This tool gives a first ranking, not a specification.
